Windsor Castle

Today, Kellie and I took the bus to Archway tube stop and then had to do some switching to get to Waterloo where we met up with our group and took the train to Windsor Castle. I took lots of pictures of what I could take pictures of. We were not allowed to take pictures inside of the castle but I really wish I could have because all of the rooms were so beautiful! Very elaborate ceilings and decorations. Lots of guns and swords hanging on the walls.

We were free to wander the castle on our own so Kellie and I walked around with four other girls. We took our picture with one of the guards and then stopped to get some lunch at a little cafe outside of the castle in the town of Windsor. We walked down one of the main streets that had lots of shops and then decided to head back to the train station.

Kellie and I ate dinner with our homestay family and then chatted with our host brothers, Jack and Sam, about popular music, movies, and shows. Then Kellie and I played wii with Jack for a while and then became real friends on facebook. Haha and now we will be connected and friends for life. They are really sweet. This is going to be an awesome experience. I love our host family.

We might go watch Sam play football this weekend, which I am excited about! Kellie and I want to go around town on Saturday and explore. We went on a 2 hour bus tour of London yesterday but it was far too quick and we didn't stop. I wrote down all the places that I wanted to revisit and I have a very long list. It's a good thing we have 3 months!

Good night, it's almost midnight. xoxo
